Landscaping

Environmental Land Use

As the pressure on the rural environment from development activity increases, trees, woodland and associated habitats are seen as an incredibly important element, particularly in relation to landscape character and biodiversity.

• Prepare detailed landscape appraisals for development and planning purposes


• Agree strategic environmental mitigation schemes with the Local Planning Authority and other statutory agencies


• Prepare detailed tree, woodland and associated habitat management plans to inform planning decisions


• Specify, instruct and supervise implementation


• Monitor and evaluate implementation of agreed schemes

Within the context of our wider landscaping and environmental work we advise extensively on landscaping and environmental issues for quarries and minerals sites. In particular, we advise on landscape and habitat management in relation to planning applications, restoration and aftercare schemes.
