English Woodland Grant Scheme
Lockhart Garratt Ltd are delighted to be able to inform you of recent positive changes to the grant funding available for both new and existing woodlands.
For several years and really since the establishment of the new suite of grants under the English Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS), funding restrictions have meant that either grants were difficult to obtain or that rates were poor and unattractive.
As from 1st March 2009 significant changes have been made to the scheme under the banner of:
‘higher rates, higher percentage contributions and eased eligibility criteria’.
