'Guess the Firewood' Competition Winner
Lockhart Garratt recently ran a 'Guess the Firewood' competition on their stand as part of the Forestry Commissions Woodfuel Fair, held at Top Lodge, near Corby on the 20th and 21st March
The competition was extremely popular and the prize, a bottle of champagne, was eventually won by a local man, Stuart Kent (pictured right) from Higham Ferrers.
The fair, the first to be held at Top Lodge, attracted nearly 3,000 visitors and aimed to 'kindle your enthusiasm' for woodfuel as an alternative 'green' heating option.
Lockhart Garratt provides expert advice on all aspects of woodfuel and had keen interest at the show demonstrating just how popular this source of energy has become.
