Creating community woodland areas
This area of work is focused on the management and creation of new community assets and facilities, notably community woodland, for public, private and charity based clients.
It also offers strategic planning and management of publically owned woodland and open space assets together with the management and coordination of community consultation and engagement and the running of community and stakeholder events.
- Community engagement : consultation (strategy, reporting and implementation), guided tours and presentations, school liaison, community planting events, interpretation and signage
- Community woodland creation : design, grant funding, specification, implementation and aftercare
- Strategic reviews : “ management plans, land occupation models, funding streams, partnership working
- Site management : plans of operation, work programmes and budgets, specifications and contractor supervision, condition monitoring
