FORESTRY STUDENT PLACEMENT
12 month work based student placement based at our offices in Weldon, Corby, Northamptonshire.
Full time, between 44-52 weeks including 25 days holiday pro rate (plus bank holidays).
£12,500 per annum
The Role
The Forestry Student will work alongside and under the supervision of our senior forestry staff in all matters relating to lowland forestry as well as offering support to the other company service sectors including ecology and landscape management.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates are required to demonstrate a key interest within the forestry and woodland sector whilst working towards a first class/upper second class degree.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Any previous experience/knowledge in estate management would be desirable but not essential.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential and effective time management is key as is the ability to apply a good degree of common sense to work and consider the safety of yourself and others.
